Creative Director

Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in a senior/director capacity
- A proven reputation for your creative craft
- Inspiring leadership; able to manage, motivate and coach individuals at all levels
- Concrete experience across influencer, digital and social campaigns, with video being the primary format
- Extensive experience working with senior global clients and the ability to pitch and present ideas with clarity and confidence (internally and externally)
- Experienced multi-account handler
- Innate understanding of the content production process
- Immaculate attention to detail
- First-class written and verbal communication skills; confident at presenting, pitching and selling conceptual work, explaining what makes great work and how it meets the objectives
- Expert pitch building capabilities
- Exceptional work ethic; tenacious and resilient under pressure
- Competent line management experience is a requisite
Creative Leadership
- Leading our creative department, inspiring it and, with it, the whole agency
- Leading the development of a portfolio of clients, motivating and inspiring talent, clients, and our teams
- Building our creative offering with unique and compelling ideas that create new solutions and make clients and the industry take notice
- Develop a quick understanding of our clients’ customers and generating attention-grabbing ideas that will entice them, helping to make ideas become reality
- Client liaison to develop a strong understanding of client requirements and objectives
- Develop proactive and responsive strategic plans, proposals, and content
- Knowledgeable and passionate about their client’s business, with a clear understanding of the brand’s values and where and how advertising contributes to its success
- Copywriting: generating scripts, stand-alone copy, text to complement visuals, or social post captions across any platform; understanding the message the client/brand is seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy that will engage the reader
- Brand guardian across all agency accounts, ensuring that work is both creatively outstanding and effective, but also adheres consistently to required brand guidelines and budgets
- Enhance our agency’s creative philosophy, strategy, and objectives
- Represent our agency in PR, at industry events, panels, and in thought leadership groups
- Taking responsibility for the standard of creative output of the entire agency
- Creating ideas that can be used across various platforms to support campaigns
- Staying one step ahead of competitors by researching current media trends
- Able to receive, manage, and respond appropriately to feedback from clients, research, and agency colleagues
- Inspiring and managing the work, performance, and professional development of creative teams
- Directing the production processes and workflows
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and deliver new business plans with ideas that inspire and excite
- Pitching ideas and campaigns to existing and potential clients
- Responsive; reacts immediately to any existing client growth opportunity
- Commercially savvy; understands and able to input into the business/client P&L, and drive quarterly income forecasting
- Margin hunter; understand individual areas of profitability and set margin/profitability targets
- New business; translate client challenges/opportunities into incremental revenue opportunities
- Intimate with the numbers; a part of monthly income forecasts, margin expectations and P&L
- Value ambassador; ensures clients understand and recognise the commercial value of our relationship
